KORY THOMAS, MPH, CMPE

President

Kory Thomas serves as Chief Operating Officer at Gastro Florida, the largest gastroenterology practice in Tampa Bay with 40 providers in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties. In addition to previously serving as Vice President of Tampa Bay MGMA, Kory has volunteered with Red Cross Disaster Relief, tutored underprivileged youth in math, performed at local events & churches, and been a foster parent since 2014. Originally from Oklahoma, he is an avid Sooners football fan and expects OU to win national championship #8 this year.

MICHAEL FRANKS, MPA, CMPE 

Board Member

Michael Franks serves as Administrator for North Pinellas Children's Medical Center, a 21 board certified physician pediatric practice serving the southwest region of Florida. Michael has served in several roles including Chief Operating Officer for the Naples Medical Center in Naples, Florida. Michael serves in several volunteer positions including his role as Board Member for the Florida MGMA, as well as Past President of the Tampa Bay MGMA.

VICKI RYAN, CMPE

Executive Director

Vicki Ryan is a medical practice administrator, experienced in both private and academic practices in Florida and Illinois. She is former CEO of Orthopaedic Assoc of West FL, as well as Administrator of FL Behavioral Medicine. She is one of the founding members of Tampa Bay MGMA in 2006, a past President and currently serves as its Executive Director.
